WE ARE AT A CRITICAL CROSSROADS IN OUR COUNTRY.

Our campaign represents A NEW WAY FORWARD, one that puts people first and unites us, not divides us. The communities of California’s 40th Congressional District deserve leadership that doesn’t just talk, but listens and acts to secure today while building opportunities for a tomorrow where everyone thrives

Nina Linh represents A New Way Forward.

She is a mom, an entrepreneur, a non-profit founder, and an advocate – a proven leader who has dedicated her life to creating better opportunities for others.

Her story embodies the American experience and reflects the diverse communities of California’s 40th Congressional District.

It is one of resilience, service, and a relentless drive to build a better future.

Born to a South Vietnamese veteran who gave his life  fighting for freedom, she immigrated to the U.S. as a baby.  Sponsored by the Catholic Church, she arrived with her mother and siblings to build a new life. Growing up in a working-class household marked by domestic violence, she experienced firsthand how systems fail vulnerable families.

Public education became her lifeline, unlocking an entrepreneurial spirit that has led her to a multifaceted career where she has consistently broken barriers.

As an entertainment executive, she managed talent for television and music, producing nationally broadcast shows. In finance and real estate, she guided clients through complex challenges to build successful ventures.

Nina’s commitment to service deepened when her own family was impacted by  mental health struggles. She responded as a determined mother and a leader. Nina founded the WonderSeed Foundation, a non-profit that integrates cutting edge technology and neuroscience to empower at-risk youth to become healthy and productive citizens. WonderSeed continues to transform hundreds of young lives across America.

Nina’s dedication to our youth led her to confront systemic failures in education. She formed a bi-partisan education committee and took her advocacy skills to Capitol Hill.  There she championed meaningful educational reform legislation. That experience revealed how deeply the current system favors the powerful at the expense of working families.

Her journey has shaped her vision for what’s possible when empathy meets action. She is and will be a relentless problem solver.  She understands what it is like to struggle, to be unheard, and to feel like the system is not built for you. She is a passionate advocate for the most vulnerable, our working class and our shrinking middle class. She knows that real change does not come from division – it comes from bringing people together, and finding common ground to get things done.

LEADERSHIP IN ACTION

Our communities deserve a leader who will  listen, stand up and provide balanced solutions to their everyday needs.

Across our district, hardworking families face mounting challenges. Many can no longer afford to remain in the neighborhoods they call home. Healthcare access grows more uncertain, threatening the well-being of our most vulnerable residents. Our schools struggle to equip students with the skills required for tomorrow’s economy.

Through it all, Washington isn’t listening. I believe there is a new way forward.

Economy & Affordability

I understand the economic pressure our families are under because I’ve lived it. As the daughter of a refugee and raised in a working-class home, I know what it means to stretch every dollar. Today, too many families are working full-time yet falling further behind as the cost of living, housing, groceries, and utilities continue to soar. People are struggling to live a decent life in the communities they’ve called home.  I’m running for Congress to restore economic stability and ensure hard work leads to a better life, not just financial survival.

I believe we need a tax system that reflects today’s economic reality. My priorities include:

  • Updating federal tax brackets to better match current income levels.
  • Expanding deductions for essentials like childcare and healthcare.
  • Restoring the full State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction to stop penalizing Californians.
  • Championing small business development and workforce training.
  • Investing in infrastructure projects that create jobs now and build a more connected, energy-efficient future.

Healthcare

Healthcare is personal to me. Growing up in a working-class household, I know what it’s like when one unexpected medical bill threatens your family’s financial stability. I’ve seen how access to consistent, affordable care can mean the difference between struggle and security. Healthcare shouldn’t be a luxury — it should be a right. That’s why I’m committed to championing a system that works for everyone.

My healthcare priorities include:

  • Defending and strengthening Medicare and Medicaid to protect the health and dignity of millions.
  • Lowering the cost of prescription drugs so no one has to choose between medicine and groceries.
  • Ensuring access to affordable, quality care — including reproductive healthcare.
  • Preventing medical bankruptcy by capping out-of-pocket costs and expanding affordable coverage options.
  • Increasing funding for mental health care and research, making treatment more accessible and reducing stigma.

Education & Public School Funding

I believe education is foundational and is an investment in future generations. That belief took me to Capitol Hill, where I worked across the aisle to push for real, bipartisan reforms.

Now, I’m committed to transforming public education into a true engine of opportunity. That means:

  • Ending outdated, property tax-dependent funding models and ensuring every school has the resources to succeed.
  • Making targeted investments in underfunded districts and schools serving underrepresented communities.
  • Expanding school meal programs, after-school services, and mental health support, so students can focus on learning.
  • Improving access to technology to bridge the digital divide and support modern learning.
  • Investing in teacher support and development, recognizing that great educators are key to student success.

My approach is simple: invest in students so they can thrive — in school and beyond.
